After a long cold winter, we here in the Pacific Northwest finally received our first glimmer of summer. Shambhala Music Festival announced that they will be announcing their headlining artists on Wednesday, March 30! Basically, we now have an announcement of an announcement: Slightly cruel but better than getting unknowingly hit with this wave of EDM glory while eating a tuna sandwich with your co-worker next week.
Now coming into its 19th year, Shambhala continues to bring in the most influential and diverse dance music artists from from around the world. With the likes of Claude VonStroke, Skrillex and Jazzy Jeff (plus approximately 150 others) gracing the decks last summer, we have all been patiently waiting to see what musical frenzy the festival folks have whipped up for us this year.
If you have yet to grab your ticket for this magical weekend in the British Columbia forest, we regret to inform you as of last week the festival is now completely sold out. That’s right party people, for the first time in Shambhala history all tickets were sold without even a lick of the line-up being revealed. This is a true testament to the quality of artists the festival continues to bring in year after year. This is one festival that can truly do no wrong in our opinion.
Keep your eyes peeled to the Shambhala website and Facebook Page as they release the undoubtedly mind blowing headlining artists next Wednesday. If that’s not enough to get you hyped, April 11-16 they will begin slowly unfolding the full stage line-ups as well.
