Shambhala Music Festival unveiled their incredible 2018 headliners earlier this month and the stage-by-stage announcements have been making us seriously miss being home (to say the least). There’s one thing for sure: Shambhala 2018 is going to be the best one yet.

Not surprising, as the organizers have always had a keen sense of what their audience wants. Like lineups in the past, this one has a little bit of something for everyone. Some epic performances are to be had, with DnB masters Loadstar and DC Breaks playing a B2B set and The Librarian (Bass Coast co-founder) and longtime friend Mat the Alien playing a set together.

If you haven’t secured your ticket home, there are some available for this year’s edition of Shambhala, but we’re not expecting them to be available much longer. In the likely event that the festival sells out, check out the festival’s ticket exchange group on Facebook to snag your ticket home.

The stage-by-stage announcements started on April 9th and went all the way through to the 14th. Some of our favorites include GramatikDr. FreschLiquid StrangerDelta Heavy and of course the takeover of 1984. Check out the full lineup below and tell us which artists you’re looking forward to seeing the most.

Statement from Fractal Forest on Facebook:

Team Fractal are super proud to be celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Fractal Forest stage this summer at Shambhala Music Festival. In 1999 we started out as a small stage in the forest built on a burnt out old growth tree stump. Here we are now 20 years later and we have seen our little stage grow into a world class music venue hosted by some of the biggest DJ and artist legends from around the globe. Join us this year as we celebrate this evolution and take a moment to reflect on how far we have come and some of the highlights along the way. We have a great weekend of music planned and have invited to the stage a load of funky Fractal favorites from over the years along with some new faces that have never played before.

DJ’s will be dropping everything funky including Breaks, Glitch Hop, House, DnB, Turntablism, Hip Hop and of course straight up Funk. As always, you can expect the craziest mind melting video mapping, lasers and lights in a 360 degree immersive forest environment. Let yourself go as you become one with the forest and move your body to the pounding beats coming from the trees. Wander around the space and discover friends, cool creatures, garden areas and experience the forest from its multitude of perspectives in the round. Dance in your bare feet and connect to Mother Earth in the forest on our meticulously crafted and maintained organic dance floor.

We can’t wait to see all of your smiling faces again this year enjoying the funky vibes at our stage and celebrating this truly magical place. The evolution of the Fractal Forest continues and the Team look forward to another 10 years of bringing you The Funkiest Show On Earth. See you on the farm in August for this cosmic journey.
