We might feel like festival season is officially dead and that we may never return to our most favorite venues well, let’s just say it, ever, but Seven Lions has graciously decided to bless us with a magical melodic gift to tide us over this coming weekend.
Throughout this pandemic, the EDM community has been treated to some breathtaking backdrops to experience one of a kind DJ sets. From the gorgeous Grand Canyon, shimmering deserts, epic sunsets on rooftops, and majestic castles, it seems like there’s nowhere that a DJ hasn’t thrown down. While we all are aching for the return of live shows, it really has been amazing to witness what our community has chosen to do while we cannot be together.
Seven Lions has gathered his team along with a partnership with Insomniac Events, and will be bringing his Chronicles Tour to our living rooms for an unforgettable livestream event at one of the world’s most scenic venues, our very own beloved PNW gem, the Gorge Amphitheater.
Despite Seven Lions’ Chronicles 3 event originally scheduled to happen last month having been unfortunately cancelled due to COVID-19, his fans have never given up hope that something incredible could possibly happen at this iconic and picturesque location.
It all goes down this Saturday, August 15th between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. Insomniac TV will be broadcasting an extremely unique two-hour set from Seven Lions with Gem & Tauri opening the evening. This truly will be meaningful if you consider the Gorge to be your home away from home and is just what Washington/PNW ravers need as we have not been able to experience the drive-in rave options that have been occurring in other parts of the United States.
In contrast to the mammoth melodic bass sensation that Seven Lions is, Gem & Tauri are a newer rising duo who fall into the melodic house and techno genre, made of up of two ladies, Courtney Simmons and Emma Montalvo. If you have been lucky enough to catch any of their numerous livestreams on Seven Lions twitch, Gem & Tauri really have been dropping fire sets consistently that really bring all those groovy feelings that will rope you in and make this a perfect transition into the rest of the evening.
Insomniac has announced this event as well and has shared further details on all their socials, inviting fans to “Get ready to dance, cry & headbang as we experience these surreal moments together.” You can also snag some limited edition collab merch from the Insomniac Team and Seven Lions here.

It really has been a struggle with the COVID-19 pandemic taking away the one of the experiences that we love the most, but it’s impossible not to be excited to be transported virtually back to our PNW festival home with this Seven Lions and Gem & Tauri event.
