Saturday Conflicts

Saturday’s schedule has us going from stage-to-stage as well, but features a few less heart-wrenching choices than either Friday or Sunday at Shambs. But, from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m., we have some choices to make. Plastician will be wowing The AMP at 7:30, so we’ll be starting there. But at 8 p.m., Stylust Beats is playing at The Village, and Shiny Things takes over The Grove. On top of that, Hotel Garuda’s set begins at 8:30 p.m. over at The Pagoda, while Questlove takes the stage at 9 p.m. at The Fractal Forest.  As is the case will all of the decisions, there’s no wrong choices, and any of these sets is a great way to spend sunset on Saturday of Shambhala.

Saturday Shambala 2016 Conflicts

Saturday doesn’t have us quite as conflicted as the rest of the weekend.

Sunday Conflicts

The final night of music at Shambhala 2016 is full of big names, wonderful stages, and tons of great acts. So much so that we divided our Sunday conflicts into two parts. Luckily, staggered set-times will give us the opportunity to see many of these performances, but it’ll be hard to leave any of the sets on Sunday. First, at 8:30 p.m., The M Machine is at The Pagoda, while Haywyre makes his long-awaited Shambhala debut. He was unable to make last year, and will be happy to make up for it at The Village at 9 p.m. Shortly thereafter, another of our Shambhala-faves, JPOD The Beat Chef performs at The Grove at 9:30 p.m.

More tough choices come quick, when Getter makes his Shambhala return at The Pagoda at 11:30 p.m. We can’t wait for what he has in store, but will likely have to cut it short around midnight, when Snails takes the stage at The Village and Green Velvet does the same at The Fractal Forest. To make the choices even tougher, Troyboi is performing at The AMP at 12 a.m., and Emancipator takes charge at The Grove at 12:30 a.m.

Shambhala 2016 set times conflicts

Thankfully, we won’t have to run too far from stage to stage (to stage) on Sunday.

To close out the festival, there are what we consider the toughest conflicts of the festival. At 1 a.m., rising star Marshmello will have our full attention, but after 1:30 a.m., all bets are off. That’s when the legendary Andy C and Armanni Reign graces The Village with their presence. At the same time, one of the most interesting sets of the festival features Ghastly’s performance at The Fractal Forest. An original artist playing at one of the most original stages in the world is a recipe for a fantastic set. Oh yeah, and Bleep Bloop is over at The AMP from 1:30 a.m. – 3 a.m., too. Wow.

After attempting to find the energy to traverse as many of those sets as we can, it’ll be time for What So Not at The Pagoda sometime after the set begins at 2:30 a.m. Then, it’s over to The Village for a portion of G Jones 60-minute set, which starts at 3 a.m. To close out the festival, we’ll be on-hand for Destructo’s Sunrise Sermon from 4 a.m. – 5:30 a.m., with some DJ Slynk sprinkled in after his set starts at 4:30 a.m. Either way, we’ll be ending Shambhala with a smile on our faces, and another amazing year in the books.
