As a collective Sub 49 is a melting pot of talented individuals, who have taken it upon themselves to celebrate Pride month via a Pride Livestream! Going down this Saturday June 27th from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m., Sub 49 is delivering a full lineup comprised of LGBTQ+ artists.
We wish for nothing more than to celebrate Pride month with the absolute full gusto it deserves. While COVID-19 continues to run rampant, it’s kept us from festivities and celebrations of encouragement and love.
That’s why we applaud Sub 49’s Pride Livestream, that not only showcases talented LGBTQ+ artists within our own community but helps us direct support to worthy like-minded causes. Check out each artist from their Pride Livestream lineup: Darrius, Frida K b2b hherb, FMJ, Caleb, Alfonso Tan and DJ Trinitron!
All proceeds from the stream will be going towards The Black Trans Advocacy Coalition as well as Equal Rights Washington. For those who may not know, The Black Trans Advocacy Coalition fights to bring equal rights to all trans POC. Not only do they help provide housing but they also advocate for safe and adequate healthcare.
Likewise, Equal Rights Washington works for the LGBTQ+ community to protect Washington’s Non-Discrimination laws. Most notable is their work to advance legal and legislative priorities such as banning trans and gay panic as legal defenses against the LGBTQ+ community.
