Although summer is coming to a close in the Northwest, there are many shows and festivals we at DMNW are looking forward to this fall. Most recently added to our list: USC events is teaming up with Rockstar to bring us a trap-heavy lineup for this upcoming Safe in Sound. Last year’s festival included performances from Bro Safari, Datsik, Excision, Dotcom, and Terravita, and there is even more in store for this year.
With this event happening just before FreakNight, many people are debating which one to choose (if not both!). We can only imagine the amazing time to be had at Safe in Sound, with Borgore as headliner, supported by NGHTMRE, Feed Me, Laxx, and San Holo. Plus, we can’t help but get excited any time there’s a show at WaMu.
Borgore’s recent releases on Soundcloud hint that he will definitely bring the trap vibes to the festival. NGHTMRE’s sound will make for a good precursor to Borgore. Feed Me’s trippy sound and strong visuals will keep you engaged from beginning to end. Along with Laxx’s trappy dubstep and San Holo’s futuristic trap, it makes for an evening that will keep us dancing.
Tickets are currently $61.65 after Ticketmaster fees, so it is a slightly more affordable alternative to FreakNight. You can also win tickets via the USC Facebook page.
Will we see you embracing the trap at WaMu?
