Last weekend Rezz took her production qualities to the next level with a thrilling new remix. She chose to remix the melody focused masterpiece Divinity by Porter Robinson. Porter’s management team were gracious enough to provide the vocals and stems. Thus this is an official remix and not a bootleg. As of now it does not have a release date. It is only available at live Rezz shows.

porters team was kind enough to send me the vocals & stems SO fast after we asked – and while my inspiration was at a high, i was able to act on it and finish it so fast, and im so happy.
Fans for and against the Electronic Space Queen were skeptical about whether she would be able to recreate the magic from the original version. After this remix was played out in Philadelphia and Montreal it is clear that Rezz has created an outstanding rendition. She succeeded in the two most important rules of creating a remix: treating the original with respect and bringing something new to the project. Listen to the remix.
The most important aspect about this remix was the decision to keep the original melody from Divinity. Rezz’s music has always been out of this world. If Rezz continues dabbling in heavy melody influenced music she will be able to take her music higher than ever before.
Rezz’s Divinity remix has been played only two times. For the time being, this will be a live only exclusive remix.
Was fun testing my porter remix over the weekend. Got home & Tweaked a bit of things & now it’s for sure done. Will prob give it to u for free at some point after playin it a while!
