The one hit wonder you completely forgot about, Return of the Mack, is back again. Written and recorded by Mark Morrison, the song was a pop sensation in 1997, nearly soaring to the top of the Billboard Top 100, only to be outranked by Hason’s MMMBop. The track was covered in 2011 by rapper Mann featuring vocals from Snoop Dogg and then sampled in 2012 by Trae The Truth in I’m On featuring MDMA, Lupe Fiasco, Big Boi, Wale, and Wiz Khalifa.
Now in 2015, we have one “original remix” and four new remixes, which all bring a fresh take on the classic song. Remixes by Oliver Heldens, Dirtycaps, Poupon, and SNBRN are from the new Lady Bee (feat. Rochelle) Return of the Mack original mix.
