[divider]INTRODUCTION[/divider]
Following the cancelled second day of FreakNight 2014, many people had questions about what the future would hold for similar events in the Northwest. USC Events has answered those questions with impressive resolve, putting together one of the top New Year’s Eve lineups in the country for Resolution 2015. But a lineup can only do so much, and when word broke that Resolution would indeed be held at Seattle’s WaMu Theater, the Northwest scene let out a huge sigh of relief. With little time left before we are plunged into 2015, news came at a rapid pace, and in no time we went from wondering how we’d be ringing in the New Year to making kandi with latest mixes from Morgan Page and Cosmic Gate.
Doors open at 6 p.m. for the two-stage massive, which is an ages 18+ event with no re-entry. Tickets are available at various retail outlets throughout the Northwest, which can be found listed here, as well as online (with fees) via Ticketmaster. According to the Resolution 2015 official site, everyone will be searched upon entry, needing to empty their pockets and having all items examined. There will be Narcotics officers working inside and outside of the event, with enhanced security efforts in place throughout the night. There is also, yet again, free water refill stations located throughout the venue.
UPDATE: There has also been an update to the list of allowed items, which can be read in full here. In short, hydration packs and similar bags are no longer allowed, as they were initially. Instead, similar to the rules for NFL games, only clear bags smaller than 12x12x6 will be allowed in. This means backpacks, fanny packs, drawstring bags, or any other form of bag is not allowed. Clear bags that meet the guidelines will be sold for $10 (to those without a locker) and for $5 (to those with a locker), outside the event.
Please understand that any and all rules have been instituted with the safety of all of our guests in mind. These rules have been collectively agreed upon by management to ensure a safe and enjoyable time is afforded to all attendees. We understand that you might not get why certain things are and are not permitted, but we can assure you that all rules are in the best interest of all who are attending… If you are questioning whether something is allowed or not, just leave it behind and come enjoy the show. – USC Events
