The dance music world was shaken to its core back in December, when it received news that Paul Baumer of Bingo Players had tragically lost his battle with cancer and passed away. Maarten Hoogstraten followed this with a heartfelt message containing one single thesis: Bingo Players will always be plural. To pay tribute to the life of Baumer, artists from around the globe are coming together for Remembrance Festival on March 27th at Ice Palace in Miami.
Phase 1 saw Bingo Players, Dada Life, Tommy Trash, and more get announced, with tickets going on say Tuesday, February 11th. Needless to say, Remembrance is a touching example of just how close the EDM community is, as we all unite in celebrating the life of a much-missed musical legend. Follow Remembrance Festival on Facebook for more updates, and check out Maarten’s statement about the future of Bingo Players over here.
