If you are nostalgic for summer fun already, watching festival recap videos can help soothe your sorrows. Electric Forest released a five-part video series reliving some of the sights, sounds and memories created during the summer music, camping and arts festival in the scenic woods of Rothbury, Michigan last June 26-29, 2014.
From fan experiences to stage performances and everything in between, the video series eloquently captures some of the beautiful faces and stunning visuals that filled the grounds of the iconic festival. The principle video in the series, Take Me Home, showcases the unparalleled variety of experiences that contribute to this truly unique event. From daytime yoga sessions and hundreds of hammocks set between towering trees, to the discovery of larger-than-life art installations and epic musical performances – Take Me Home is an amazing glimpse into the magical world of Electric Forest.
Additionally, four video vignettes each explore a different core facet of the festival – the artful expression evident everywhere at Electric Forest, the music that brings everyone together, the many adventures to be had that awaken the spirit, and the interactions that nurture strong bonds within the Electric Forest community and beyond.
Hailed as one of the “20 legendary world festivals to see in your lifetime” (Distractify) and “an escape for the ages”, (IMF Mag) it’s hard to put into words exactly how transformative the Electric Forest experience can be. But those who have been to Electric Forest know that “the culture and community created within this event is one to be cherished like the incredibly rare find it is,” (White Raver Rafting) and that “within minutes of immersing yourself in this fairytale like adult playground, you know that you have found yourself different.” (VICE Thump)
Planning for the 2015 installment of Electric Forest is already underway with 2015 festival dates, artist lineup, and other exciting details still to be announced.
