RJD2 is back and about to release his fifth full-length album, ‘More Is Than Isn’t’. The album will be available next week on his own ‘RJ’s Electrical Connections’ label. Before the album drops, you can listen to all the eclectic sounds the record has to offer via album stream on Rolling Stone’s website.
Starting off the album, “Suite 1″ gives listeners ambient street sounds, accompanied by some jazz piano. After the introduction, RJD2 displays the entire library of sounds he’s been experimenting with. The albums neo-soul single-kicker,”Tempramental,” makes way for the Step-Crew song “Her Majesty’s Socialist Request”. And it seems the rest of the tracks on ‘More Is Than Isn’t” hit every genre – creating a diverse sonic pallet for the entire album.
