The Los Angeles artist Shlohmo is taking the electronic community into a direction of secrecy and subtlety. If you’re a fan of Shlohmo, you understand his eccentric uniqueness. If you’re not familiar, Shlohmo is a producer who strives to take the road less traveled and that doesn’t necessarily mean an easy one. Every track he produces is a bit startling; listeners don’t really know what to expect. Every off-beat bass line somehow manages to work through our ears and into our bodies while driving a deep pulse that runs through our veins. Shlohmo stepped up to the plate to provide his own interpretation of “Your Love” by Samo Sound Boy. The original gives us enough chills already and Shlohmo reworks those chills up our spines and into our minds. Acid-drip synth work is slightly influenced by house and creeps its way into the shadows of this very obscure track. Bottomless riffs accompany sultry-soaked bass giving this particular tune a steamy sound.

There is something hauntingly sensuous about this one. The video for the original “Your Love” by Samo Sound Boy is hot, dangerous, and hides just enough to subtlety ooze mystery. Viewers beware, this video is deeply wicked and exceptionally sexy.
