Thomas Jack is that rare DJ with the ability to take a song and remix it down to the bare elements that make it beautiful. With Of Monsters and Men’s “Little Talks,” it’s hard to imagine a way that he could make it any more relaxing, and yet somehow he’s done it to perfection. Stripping out the refrain and replacing it with playful panflute interludes, Jack manages to birth an indie/deep house crossover that makes us long for summer beaches and margaritas in the sun.
