The latest release from our favorite Canadian duo, Eminence, is here – having teamed up once more with Redmoon of Singapore, and featuring the lovely vocals of singer-songwriter, miss Holly Drummond. The track, “Changes,” is a vast, atmospheric house style; much too expansive and full-bodied to be enclosed into the “big room” label. The breakdown, minimized to relaxing guitar strums and a few soft piano keys, is the perfect complement to the feather-weight vocals, creating the feeling of floating on air. What we love most about Eminence is that they do not try to fit into a genre – they want every track to sound different, encompassing whatever style they see fit for the sound they are going for. The release of “Changes” is yet another huge milestone for the duo, after ranking 169th in the 2012 DJ Mag poll, and climbing higher with every goal they set out to achieve.
