Get ready to change up your average Tuesday and dive into some local rock n roll! Red Bull Sound Select, an ongoing program to support local music scenes and the people who push them forward, will present the latest installment of Red Bull Sound Select Presents: Seattle on Tuesday, February 18 at the Tractor Tavern in Ballard (Seattle). The event series, curated in partnership with local label Sub Pop Records, the Capitol Hill Block Party and Sasquatch! founder Adam Zacks, features one headliner and two local artists on the rise. Throughout the year, the showcase will visit different career-launching Seattle and Portland venues and introduce an exciting line-up of artists local to the Pacific Northwest. This week’s upcoming Red Bull Sound Select is extra special, as both local bands and the headliner are all from Seattle! Indie rock artist Mikal Cronin will headline the event, while Acapulco Lips and Wimps will open as support.
Tickets are only $3 for those who RSVP! You can find out more information on the Facebook Event Page, but you MUST RSVP to the event online to reserve a spot on the list for the special price. So scrounge up your change from under the couch cushion, shake up your weekly routine and add some local music flare to your Tuesday. We will see you there!
