Did you know that Kristian Nairn, who plays our beloved Hodor on Game of Thrones, was a DJ before he was an actor? You can check him out on MixCloud and hear some pretty decent house. Nairn’s night and day job will be colliding, as he will be embarking on on a national Australian tour in August, aptly titled ‘Rave of Thrones.’ And of course, he’ll be under the name DJ Hodor.
According to a press release, Nairn will be showcasing “some of the deepest house from all seven kingdoms” in six capitol cities across Australia on August 28 through September 7. The shows will be Game of Thrones themed, with the venues transformed in the fashion of the finest halls in Westeros. Costumes will be mandatory.
Nairn will be joined by Sydney artist EGO who will perform a Thrones-themed visual set, as well as a range of surprise guests. For full tour dates (in case you can make it to Australia for this!) and additional information, check out the press release. We’re curious: distance aside, if you could attend, would you? Comment and let us know your thoughts.
