It took four years for Pretty Lights to release a new album following Passing by Behind Your Eyes, and it was more than worth way. A Color Map Of The Sun challenged all our conceptions of dance music while still staying true to that classic Pretty Lights sound we all know and love. With that long wait between albums, you can bet people we’re just a little surprised when a brand new unreleased B-side appeared.
Lost and Found carries with it that sexy instrumental feel our glitch-hop hero has been investing for his new music. But the fun doesn’t end there for fans; soon after the track dropped, our own Bellingham-based ODESZA’s remix of it followed mere minutes later, pulled straight off the soundtrack to the upcoming movie Divergent. Both offerings tap into that old-school ethereal vibe of Pretty Lights’ earlier music, while still demonstrating the musical maturity that came with A Color Map Of The Sun.
