Knife Party
No stranger to the Northwest, or to The Gorge, Australian duo Knife Party are making their second stint as Paradiso headliners this summer. Last gracing the most beautiful venue in North America with their presence in the inaugural Paradiso in 2012. Boy, did the guys pick a time to return. Joining the most stacked group of headliners, and arguably the most complete lineup, in Paradiso history, Knife Party is once again making their mark on the Northwest at a major festival.
Knife Party is made up of duo Rob Swire and Gareth McGrillen, both of whom are also members of legendary drum & bass group Pendulum. The collaborative project got off to a hell of a start in 2011 and has only proceeded to become one of the most popular and adored acts in all of dance music. Their number of hits in that time is eye-opening, and when their latest album, Abandon Ship, came out last year, it showed that the guys have more up their sleeve than we imagined. There’ll be a big crowd for Knife Party’s set at Paradiso, and there should be, so join us for a party unlike any other you’ll find this festival season.
Dyro
One of the youthful Dutch artists who’s successfully managed to carve his way out of the massive herd of acts from Holland, Dyro is right there with Hardwell and co. when it comes to representing the Netherlands. This fact is made even more impressive when you consider he had his break-out year not so long ago, in 2012. He climbed to the #30 spot in the DJ Mag Top 100 poll as a debutant in 2013 and is an electro house fan’s dream festival lineup inclusion. He’s since toured the globe, released tunes via Revealed Records, WOLV, Armada Music, and many more. A fan-favorite who’s always a festival ‘must-see’, even though he was recently in the Northwest at FreakNight 2014, we’ll be gettin’ down with Dyro this summer.
Botnek
Canadian duo Botnek took over the radio and festival circuits with their dancefloor remixes of #Selfie and Animals last year, and have continued to capitalize on their newly found success. They’ve performed at tons of major festivals and collaborated with artists like Zedd, 3lau, Snails, and more. Originally slated to perform on the cancelled second night of Freakight 2014, Botnek are ready to once again party with the PNW. They’ve been to Seattle, Portland, Vancouver, Boise, Spokane, and even Pullman, in the last year, and we’re happy to have their return come at the greatest venue in the region.

Pierce Fulton
Brooklyn-based but Vermont-raised, Pierce Fulton has been making music for audiences for as long as he can remember. Playing several instruments growing up and having an ear for quality sound, Fulton makes his relatively quick return to the Northwest, with his last show coming at Foundation Nightclub in December. The young DJ began his career as a 17-year-old, and while he’s only 22 now, firmly has his space in dance music, something that is becoming harder and harder to attain. He’s found success in his original productions and his remixes, all while growing his fan base with his energetic live-sets. A set that we suspect will be near the top of many Paradiso attendees lists after the festival, Pierce Fulton’s performance will be more than worth checking out.
