KOAN Sound
Bristol, UK-natives Jim Bastow and Will Weeks make up another of our favorite booking of Paradiso 2015: KOAN Sound. They released their most recent EP, Forgotten Myths, last month, and it’s more of the great blend of drum & bass from the duo that we’ve come to know and love. An incredible blend of glitch-hop, drum & bass, dubstep, and basically everything bass-related, KOAN Sound have shown their flexibility within the realm of dance music. Whether it’s their eclectic and energetic live performances or their mind-bending productions, KOAN Sound always hits the spot. There isn’t much drum & bass to be had at Paradiso, and if you’re looking for the best available, KOAN Sound is it.
Fury + MC Dino
If there’s a Northwest festival, and DJ Fury & MC Dino aren’t representing drum & bass, did it really happen? The duo have teamed up to perform at seven Northwest massives since 2013, including each and every Paradiso. They’ve played at Resolution (2014, 2015) and FreakNight (2012, 2013) twice each, and now only need a Lucky performance for the long-coveted Northwest Festival Grand Slam. Their sets are always one of the most energetic and bass-filled, and DJ Fury’s abilities on the decks are something to behold. Together the guys create and atmosphere that makes festivals worth going to, and we’ll always welcome them back with open arms.

Metrik
Metrik is another awesome inclusion on the Paradiso lineup, making us wish there was more drum & bass throughout the lineup. Luckily, we have Metrik, a London-based artist who’s been releasing tunes since 2007. He’s released tunes on numerous labels and has done his main work via Hospital Records, a British drum & bass label that’s been around since 1996. He released his debut album, Universal Language, via the label in September of last year. He’s part of a top-notch roster at Hospital Records that includes Camo & Krooked, Fred V & Grafix, High Contrast, S.P.Y, and more. We’ll be trying to soak up all the drum & bass we can at Paradiso, and Metrik’s set is vital to achieving that goal.
