Pegboard Nerds
Pegboard Nerds is a duo made up of Alexander Odden and Michael Parsberg who will be making their second appearance at Paradiso, with their last coming in 2013. They’re also one of the main attractions over at one of our favorite labels over the past few years, Monstercat. They’ve released tons of great originals and remixes, and collaborated with tons of our other favorite bass music acts. The bass-heavy duo are headlining the Official Paradiso Pre-Party show at Foundation Nightclub on Wednesday, June 24th, and we can’t imagine a better way to kick-off our Paradiso 2015 adventure. The Pegboard Nerds is an act that Northwest bass-heads will have circled and make sure to attend, regardless of the set time.

Kill The Noise
Kill The Noise was all over the Northwest in 2014, stopping three separate times in Seattle alone. We aren’t complaining, mind you, as his set at Lucky 2014 and two shows at the Showbox SoDo were some of our favorites of the year. Also known as Jake Stanczak, the New York-native is one of the most creative and fan-friendly artists out there, and is easy to enjoy. His live-sets are pure energy, and his list of original tunes and collabs are must-haves for every bass-head’s iPod. Welcome back as often as he’s willing to come up, Kill The Noise is a Northwest-favorite who we can’t wait to welcome back to The Gorge (he also performed at Paradiso 2012 & 2013).
MitiS
Pennsylvanian MitiS is a classically trained pianist who’s translated his vast musical talents into a various unique stylings of dubstep, electro, and more throughout his young career. Calling what he plays ‘new age classical’, MitiS is the type of artist who gives ‘EDM’ the musical credentials and validation that it craves. An undeniably talented musician, MitiS is using his powers for the greater good, and we need to show our appreciation for his wonderful decision. We’ll be doing so by attending his set at Paradiso 2015, and pining for his quick return.
TrollPhace
Endorsed by none other than Paradiso 2015 headliner Skrillex early in his career, TrollPhace is a dubstep menace who’s addition to the lineup puts the bass section over the top. He’s worked with some of the best in the bass realm of dance music and released tunes on OWSLA, Uplink, and SMOG Records in his career. Currently based out of Los Angeles, TrollPhace is the set that’ll end up keeping you at the bass stage and impressing you more than the majority of the sets you’ll hear all festival long. He was in Seattle in January, performing at Foundation Nightclub, and if that set was any indicator, The Gorge is in for quite a show.
Snails
Firmly in the “OH, SHIT YEAH” category of Paradiso 2015 artists, Snails is an act that Northwest dance music fans have been clamoring for. He performed at FreakNight 2014 and getting the chance to catch him again, at The Gorge, has us thanking the scheduling Gods over and over again. The Montreal-native blew up last year after beginning his career in 2012. A set that we’re excited for as any at Paradiso 2015, which is saying something considering the top to bottom quality of the overall lineup, Snails is a don’t-miss artist for all attendees. A rising star who’s trend of Northwest festival appearances we can only pray continues, go get slimey with Snails at Paradiso.
Zomboy
It’s hot out, and after a few sets, the first real fatigue of the festival is setting in. Taking a break is an option, until a glance at the set-times reveals exactly the cure that’s needed. Hustling toward the booming bass stage, and arriving just in time, the music stops – IT’S FUCKING ZOMBOY…
If there’s been one dubstep artist who’s been able to rival the quality and success of Skrillex, at least in the dance music world, it’s Zomboy. Also known as Joshua Mellody, Zomboy released his debut album, The Outbreak, via Never Say Die shortly after his performance at Paradiso 2014 last year. It was one of the best in all of dance music, and his most recent release is another quality addition to his catalog of tunes. Released on May 25th, the Resurrected LP features remixes from several songs from The Outbreak, as well as two new Zomboy originals and unreleased remixes of past Zomboy tunes. He’s become a regular at Northwest festivals, and as long as that continues, we’ll be happy. A fan-favorite and dubstep demigod, Zomboy’s set will be packed from start to finish.
