Green, once held by GBE and OneEleven, now belongs to 1 United, one of Portland’s last underground companies. In case you haven’t heard of Green, it is one of Portland’s oldest and best recognized parties. The 6th anniversary for Green will be on April 18th at the TAO Event Center. Not only will Green be bringing back special memories, but it has quite a lineup to go along with it.
Jonney & Oren, the duo from the UK that make up Lets Be Friends, will be one of two headliners for the night. From packing some of the best clubs and festivals throughout Europe, to getting praise from the dance music heavy weights like Excision, Knife Party and Afrojack, Lets Be Friends are worth coming out to see in action.They also have some massive remixes and releases to their name as well, such as Felix Da Housecat’s Sinner Winner, which made Beatport’s top spot for two weeks running. If that’s not your style, how about The Bigger Bang, which had over 100k views in just a couple weeks.

Connor Schatzel, aka Lumberjvck, will be the other headliner for the night. Originally from sunny southern California, Lumberjvck graces us with his heavy dubstep and trap tracks, this young 20 year old prodigy has had some head turning moments. He won the EDC Chicago Discovery Project in 2013 and had one of the biggest names in dance music, Skrillex, drop his song Click Clvck numerous times on his 2014 Mothership Tour.
Some of the best locals will be rocking the decks. You may remember Aaron Jackson, who played at the massive Nocturnal Wonderland, or Hal-v & Spacecase who just opened for Adventure Club this last month at the Roseland. How about Strive and Sidetracked, who drop some of the nastiest tunes around. With already over 800 confirmed on the facebook event page the 6th anniversary of Green is shaping up to be a memorable one.
