Porter Robinson played in five different cities over 2018 Halloween weekend. The 26 year old had not performed under his birth name since last June at Spring Awakening. Over the stretch of 2018, Robinson played a similar set in his 10 some 2018 DJ sets, but last weekend he premiered a new version. The most exciting news is that he performed two unreleased ID’s.
The North Carolina native instantly grabbed his audience’s attention with a captivating introduction and visual experience. He opened his sets with a euphoria inducing mashup of Shelter and Nero’s The Thrill (Porter Robinson Remix). In addition Robinson followed with familiar Worlds live edits that are in rotation, such as Fellow Feeling and Fresh Static Snow. Robinson’s performance in Houston is available to replay.
Porter Robinson has many edits that are only accessible in his live DJ sets and he played a couple last weekend: for instance Kaneís ft. Novel – Outer Space (Lycii & Declan James Remix / Porter Robinson Edit) and M83 – Echoes of Mine (Porter Robinson Edit)
During last weekend’s Halloween celebrations, Porter Robinson performed in New Orleans, Houston, Ohio, and Chicago. He also performed in New York City on Halloween last Wednesday. Historically when Robinson has played Sea of Voices in his DJ sets he has played a mashup of the acapella over a high jumping song named LigOne – Complete (R.O Remix). In all five of his Halloween sets, Robinson played this bucket list mashup.

Robinson closed out his Halloween celebrations with the Shelter live music video followed by an encore of Language. Ending with two of the most emotional electronic dance moves songs is a bold statement. Our hearts are begging for more Porter Robinson DJ sets in the Pacific NW. But until then, find the next Porter Robinson adventures in San Bernardino, Phoenix, San Diego, and SE Asia over the next 8 weeks.
