When word was confirmed that Pemberton Music Festival was resurrecting from the ashes this year, avid festival-goers couldn’t help but perk up their ears. What kind of lineup did the promoters have up their sleeves in order to successfully bring this festival back to life? Well, we just found out. What Pemberton Music Festival just dropped was a heavily diverse lineup of the biggest acts across the board, including some of the best names in comedy. Back in September at the launch party, they released this video with the Trailer Park Boys:

Their 2008 lineup was extremely diverse as well, which explains why everyone has been anxiously waiting for this years lineup since the announcement in September. Lo and behold, at 9 am, the lineup appeared in all of it’s glory. Keep in mind there are still more to be announced!
Just like back in 2008, the lineup boasts some of the best talent from rap, indie, various genres of EDM, and this festival has nearly every in-demand act at the moment. From the return of the highly-anticipated Outkast, to veterans like Nine Inch Nails and Soundgarden, and iconic comedians like Trailer Park Boys, Jim Breuer, Bob Saget, and breakthrough acts like Baauer, RL Grime/Clockwork, GriZ… Pemberton is going to give the other festivals a run for their money.

What makes this even more intriguing is the modest price tag that is attached with it – $279 for a 3-day GA pass for the festival. Founders Day Tickets (exclusive access to tickets for the festival for the rest of your life) sold out in just 15 minutes. Camping OR Shuttle Passes are $89 each. VIP ranges from $899 to $1,499 for Super VIP. Travel packages and payment plans are also available.

Pemberton Music Festival will take place July 18-20 in the Pemberton Valley of British Columbia, which is close to Whistler. The festival will feature a new and enlarged dance tent to hold more attendees. We can’t help but wonder who else will be added to this already breathtaking lineup.
