Nine Inch Nails
Chances are by now, you’ve heard of Nine Inch Nails. Trent Reznor has dominated the rock community for over 15 years creating unique industrial ballads fused with electronic elements thrown in with it. Rock bands and EDM producers all over praise Trent for his influence over every genre. You might recognize Nine Inch Nails songs like Head Like a Hole, Closer, Terrible Lie, and Hurt (the original version even Johnny Cash covered). No matter what setting you end up seeing Nine Inch Nails in, Trent Reznor and his band put on a show fans will remember forever. Catch Nine Inch Nails headlining performance on Day 2 (Friday).
Soundgarden
Nine Inch Nails and Soundgarden are touring together this summer, so it makes perfect sense to book them both to play Pemberton Music Festival. Soundgarden represents Seattle well, having started right around the same time as Alice in Chains and Nirvana. All three acts (along with Pearl Jam as well) completely dominated the grunge scene not just here, but all over the country. Back in 2012, Soundgarden reunited and released a brand new album titled King Animal. If you are unfamiliar with Rusty Cage, Black Hole Sun, ‘Spoonman’, Pretty Noose, or Fell on Black Days, you still have time to explore the grunge legend that is Soundgarden. Expect a top notch rock performance and show, especially playing in a festival setting. Catch Soundgarden on Day 2 (Friday).
