Justice (DJ Set)
Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay have been producing music for over a decade now. This duo took over the French house circuit with hits like ‘We Are Your Friends’ and ‘Waters of Nazareth,’ before making waves internationally just a few years later with their debut album, Cross. There is something completely refreshing, groovy, funky, and all around fun when it comes the French-house stylings of Justice. This of course makes them the perfect way to add that extra spark to the Pemberton experience. You never know what Gaspard and Xavier are up to with their live shows these days, but there are sure to be plenty of fun surprises (and maybe some new music?) thrown our way. Justice will be playing the final day of the festival (Day 4), making for a perfect way to end what is sure to be a truly memorable weekend.
Clockwork
For the last couple of years, Henry Steinway (aka Clockwork, RL Grime) has been one of EDM’s best kept secrets. Over this last year, Clockwork has started finally getting the recognition and support he deserves. After shaking up Foundation Nightclub after his Lucky performance in March here in Seattle, we can’t wait to see him deliver a set of proper electro to Pemberton. This set will be the perfect backdrop to the massive newly remodeled dance tent, promised to hold a much higher capacity of festival attendees. Looking for a highly energetic set? Look no further than Clockwork. Catch his performance on Day 4 (Sunday).
Deadmau5
Rarely playing festivals nowadays, Joel Zimmerman (aka Deadmau5) has made a name for himself in just about every way imaginable. From commercials, to music at sporting events, to his notorious Twitter feuds, Deadmau5 is a perfect pick to headline the festival’s main stage on Day 3. Joel’s massive fan following and brand new album give us plenty to look forward to for his Saturday set. Hailing from Toronto, seeing him perform on Canadian turf will be a special treat to say the least. Deadmau5 has also been hard at work on putting the final touches on his newly revamped live show; we have a feeling this mau5 has something up his sleeve next month.
Treasure Fingers
Looking for something a little more on the chill side but still can dance along to? Treasure Fingers (aka Ashley Jones) is a good place to start. Treasure Fingers is a mix between deep and tech house, with a hint of garage sound. If you’re familiar with Evol Intent, you probably know Treasure Fingers as ‘Enemy.’ Catch Treasure Fingers on Day 3 (Saturday).
3LAU
3LAU (aka Justin Blau) has exploded onto the scene these last couple of years and won the hearts of EDM fans all around the globe. Spinning mostly big room, electro, and mashups, he mixes in a unique way that quickly blends tracks together to make each set different than the last. If you’re looking for an upbeat party to dance to, 3LAU is a good place for you to start your journey. Catch 3LAU on Day 2 (Friday).
Lindsey Stirling
Lindsey Stirling is one of the most original and in-demand artists out there. She’s taken her art of fusing electronic elements with her signature blend of dancing and violin skills that have wowed crowds all over the world. Originally hailing from Australia, she is currently living in Los Angeles to pursue her dreams even further. With such a rare breed of musician, we can’t wait to witness this goddess perform in person.
