Seven Lions and Myon & Shane 54’s Strangers has quickly become one of the most remixed songs out there since its release last August. From Norin & Rad’s hard trance re-imagining to Fiesco’s electro dream, it’s a track that’s been run through its paces more times than we can count. That being so, the latest attempt to take it on by Paris Blohm may very blow all other challengers out of the water.
Blohm’s approach takes full advantage of Tove Lo’s incomparable vocals, throwing in big room appeal that make it so much more than your run-of-the-mill Beatport offering. Closing your eyes, you can’t help but picture the Paris Blohm remix echoing throughout the Gorge at sunset while 20,000 ravers sing along at the top of their lungs.
Blohm’s about to set off on tour with Tritonal (and incidentally Seven Lions at select stops including Portland), with a big empty date in the calendar on June 28th. Absolutely nothing’s been confirmed, but we’d sure have a hard time complaining if Strangers in all its glorious forms made an appearance or three.
