Seatte resident Tollefson is one of our ‘can’t miss/ won’t miss’ sets. The DJ, formerly known as Altesse, has had her insane talents recognized all over her hometown. In 2016, she won Seattle Nightlife Award’s ‘Female DJ of the Year’. She’s consistently at Q Nightclub, The Underground, and more, and we’re definitely going to be at her set. We hope to see you there too!
Mad Decent artist Daktyl appeared in the April 2015 edition of Rolling Stone’s ‘10 New Artists You Need to Know‘. Ever since he released his debut album, Cyclical, he has been garnering attention from many big names, including ODESZA, Bonobo, Diplo, and more. In addition, he’s produced remixes for Flosstradamus, Major Lazer, and Autograf. This past May, Daktyl released what he’s proclaiming is his last love song titled Weather alongside singer MOONZz.
Dutch duo DROELOE, composed of Vincent Rooijers and Hein Hamers, have seen a lot of success since the release of their debut EP A Moment in Time. This caught the attention of bitbird founder San Holo, who invited the pair to release singles like Wake the Warrior and zZz. The duo has toured all over the globe making stops at Coachella, Okeechobee, Lollapalooza and more.
Denver based Dubstep producer Trevor Christensen, aka Said The Sky, has released singles with prolific artists Illenium, Seven Lions, 3LAU, and more. Back in 2016, he released a remix of the Chainsmoker’s song All We Know and EDMTunes.com described this track as “a unique, orchestral melody that will have you bumping.” This past May, the producer teamed up with Matthew Koma to release the track Over Getting Over You from his debt album Wide-Eyed.
Composed of artists Manila Killa and Candle Weather, Hotel Garuda‘s unique House sound had them appear on Ultra’s ‘Top 10 Artists to Watch in 2014’. The artists have also created many remixes for the likes of Lana Del Rey, Banks, Galactis and more. Their debut track Smoke Signals retained the classic sound the group is known for (“euphoric pianos and melodies combined with a charismatic female vocal”) and yet, still kept their msic fresh.
Andre Haglung, aka Drezo, has been garnering all kinds of attention since he won Insomniac’s Discovery Project, which gave him a chance to perform at EDC Orlando in 2013. The artist’s efforts are being applauded by the likes of Diplo, Porter Robinson, DJ Snake and many more. Haglung has released many prominent tracks like Heaven, Dead and most recently Night.
If you’ve been to any shows by big name artists like Skrillex or Diplo, it’s quite possible you’ve heard the stylings of AC Slater. In 2008, his debut hit Turn the Music Up caught the attention of Moby, who lauded it as one of the best ten tracks of the decade. His debut album Outsiders was released last year and Dancing Astronaut referred to it as “his most cohesive bass house catalog that can be appreciated by anyone.”

Ken Jordan and Scott Kirkland of The Crystal Method have made music in pretty much every industry imaginable. In addition, their debut album VegasThe Trip Home became certified Platinum in 2007. Last year, Jordan retired from the project turning it into a solo project for Kirkland to pursue. In 2017, Kirkland went on tour with American rock band Tool under the TCM moniker. His new album is seeing it’s release on August 24th of this year.
Iranian-American Hardstyle producer Lady Faith had coined herself the Hardstyle “Queen Bitch of the Universe“, but the name doesn’t give a true sense of who she is. The oftentimes soft-spoken artist who has even done a Hardstyle take on orchestral music, is a badass in the truest sense of the word. Check out Lady Faith’s PLUR to get an idea of how wrecked you’ll become during her set.
Darren Styles‘ career started off with the Breakbeat Hardcore group known as DJ Force & The Evolution. After a number of successful hits (Heart of Gold, Paradise and Dreams), the group split to do solo work. Styles’ first release as a solo artist was under the alias of Unique, and the track was titled Feelin’ Fine. His latest track Switch was released a month ago, that’ll give you an idea of what to expect.
Unsurprsingly, Subset Ft. Ammois 100% guaranteed to be an event of epic proportions. The DJ-drummer duo love putting on performances in unique places (NASA’s Space Shuttle Trainer) and their bookings at world-reknowned festivals like Holy Ship, EDC Las Vegas and, of course, Paradiso. Matroda was called a “beast of bass house” when he released his Chronic track. And lets not forget about his gritty house take on Childish Gambino’s This is America. To get a full sense of the artist, check out his recently released album (on Monstercat no less), titled Shut it Down.
Matthew ‘Matt’ Relton, also known under his moniker Kidnap Kid, is a British House producer. His track Vehl landed him the award for ‘iTunes Best Electronic Song’ In 2016, Relton founded his label Birds that Fly and instantly started releasing some of his House tunes. Last year, he received a nomination at the Electronic Music Awards for ‘Record of the Year’ for his collaboration with Lane 8 titled Aba.
Australian House producer Sonny Fodera had a quick rise to fame with his groovy take on the genre. The artist has released compilations on Deep Down and Defected. Of course, we cannot forget the Let Go track he collaborated on with Cervendos that stayed within the top 10 positions of Beatport’s ‘Deep House’ chart for 12 weeks in a row. Fodera’s 2016 release of Frequently Flying was jam packed with incredible vocals and his signature groovy House vibes.
Pete Dougherty, aka Moon Boots, made his big break when he had a once-in-a-lifetime encounter with Perseus, the founder of the label French Express. Unfortunately the label scattered, but Dougherty’s love of music led him straight to label Anjunadeep. His debut album First Landing was released through the label on August 4th, 2017.
Chicago trio Autograf have been making their mark on the world with their unique take on Future House. Media outlet Raver Rafting described their style as “boiler room dance party meets art installation”.
Justin Martin may have had the best entrance into the EDM scene. His first recording The Sad Piano was an instant success and many DJs used the track for their live sets. Martin’s sophmore album Hello Clouds peaked on Billboard’s Dance/Electronic Albums Chart.
Ever since his 2006 release of his album Beware of the Bird Claude Vonstroke (owner of Dirtybird Records) has been kicking ass and taking names, oftentimes quite literally, as he’s amassed some of the world’s best talent on the independent San Francisco house label. The label aside, Claude Vonstroke’s sets are a joyful experience. He loves his fans and wants to have fun, his energetic sets make that abundantly clear.
Scottish producer Gramae Shepard, aka Grum, is listed as one of the Top 10 selling Progressive DJs on Beatport and there’s no question why. His tracks consistently show up in the sets of big-name artists, such as Above & Beyond, Armin van Buuren, and so many more. And as it turns out, Grum is working on some new material, so let’s keep our fingers crossed for some surprises during his set.
Gabriel & Dresden went through a temporary split for creative reasons between 2008 and 2011, until they were finally reunited at the New Year’s Eve celebration at the Hollywood Palladium in LA. Following that, the duo have performed at many well-known venues around the globe, including EDC Las Vegas, Electric Zoo and naturally, Paradiso Festival.
Israeli Psytrance producer and DJ Reshef Harari, known as Captain Hook, kicked off his music career by collaborating on Quantize alongside Adi Ashkenazi. After they collaborated for seven years, the decision was made to split up and pursue their individual solo careers. The DJ has played at many major festivals all over the globe, including Burning Man, Symbiosis Gathering and now, closing out Paradiso’s Digital Oasis.
