Colorado producer Paper Diamond strikes gold again with his brand new heavy hitting release Black Rose. Once again showing his strong ability to produce multiple genres of dance music, he leaves his fans nothing short of satisfied. Diplo recently classified Paper Diamond as one of the most versatile producers he’s ever come across and he stands behind that as he showcases Alex’s music consistently on his BBC Radio 1 show Diplo and Friends.
As 2014 kicks off, of course Paper Diamond already has booked an obscene amount of tour dates with even rumors of him taking over Volume Nightclub in Seattle once again (sometime in the month of February, date unconfirmed). Away from production another thing thing that sets Alex apart from other live performances is his determination to bring his fans a different experience in every set. He talks with us a bit about how he tackles performances and what he brings to the table every night:
I’m using my iPad on stage to control two computers, one has Ableton to play the music, which then sends a MIDI signal to the second computer, where I can control all of the LEDs and live visuals on stage that will capture the nonstop energy of my set. So basically, I get to represent myself in not just a musical manner, but I get to provide an overall visual experience for my fans as well…
2014 has already deemed to be one of the biggest years for the young producer and we’re looking forward to what’s coming our way! Stay tuned for more on our favorite Colorado producer.
