If you love the deeper, feel-good side of house music, keep an ear out for rising artist Sol-X coming straight out of Portland! Originally making waves on his Soundcloud with an unofficial “heaven trap” remix of Vicetones’ massive tune Nothing Stopping Me, he has been ascending with his style ever since. Sol-X’s reworks include some big-time tracks like Smoke Filled Room and Home To Mama, yet he puts his own original twist to give them a solid electronic dance sound. Known for soulful productions that center around vocals, he has generated support from the likes of Bleep Bloop, Seven Lions, and Syre as well.
Additionally, Sol-X doubles as an originator, digging deep into the depths of the music scene to find a niche that matches his style. Carpe Diem is the local dj’s first original. Needless to say it’s making us super hyped for what he may consistently sound like. Whether you listen to his divine remixes or quality original piece, it is clear that Sol-X is here and ready for the spotlight. Check out his newest track below and make sure to follow him now, as we anticipate some brand new music very soon!
