In many ways, 2022 has represented the triumphant return of festivals both globally and in the Pacific Northwest. The result has been a veritable treasure trove of lineups spanning Seattle to the Gorge Amphitheater. With this summer featuring festival experiences for PNW fans of virtually every genre, we’ve compiled an exhaustive list to get you ready.

Capitol Hill Block Party – Seattle, WA July 22 – 24
Back for the first time since 2019, Capitol Hill Block Party features a dominating lineup with household dance names such as Diplo, Charlie XCX, Jai Wolf, and Danny Brown. Set to run from July 22nd through July 24th, Capitol Hill Block Party stakes its claim as one of the last independently-owned festivals of its’ size in the country.
Founded in 1997, this 3-day festival showcases some of Seattle’s best bars, restaurants, and local retail establishments. We are definitely partial to this hometown extravaganza and encourage everyone to show up and out for its big return!
Day In, Day Out – Fisher Green Pavilion, August 12 – 14
If you were thinking about taking August off to recover from all of the fun that you are planning to have this summer, think again. Day In, Day Out Seattle is a new 3-day PNW festival taking place at the heart of Seattle Center at the Fisher Green Pavilion.
Day In, Day Out is produced by Dreamdream State and features a lineup of funky artists such as Mitski, Mac DeMarco, and The Nationals. There will be a wide range of other artists, local food vendors, and plenty of fun to be had while dancing the days away under the Space Needle!
Gorge Therapy Weekender – The Gorge Amphitheatre, July 22 – 24
This summer the Anjuna family will once again be returning to the Gorge for another amazing installment of the Group Therapy Weekender, running from July 22 to July 24. After being postponed in 2021 due to the pandemic, Above & Beyond and their fellow Anjuna artists are ready to be back in full force with a killer lineup featuring Amy Wiles, Oliver Smith, and of course the one and only Above & Beyond.
This two-day festival will kick off early on Thursday night at the campgrounds with tons of fun events planned, including a ping pong tournament, so make sure to get there early enough to enjoy everything the Group Therapy Weekender offers.
Shambhala Music Festival – Salmo River Ranch, July 22 – 25
After what seems like an eternity, dance music lovers of all kinds are ready to make their return to The Farm from July 22nd to July 25th. If you haven’t already heard about Shambhala at this point, let’s just put it this way, this is THE bucket list festival. Artists and fans worldwide talk about returning Salmo River Ranch in Salmo, BC year after year, and with six incredible stages and amazing lineups to match, it’s not hard to see why!
This year’s lineup features some of dance music’s heavy hitters including Clozee, Slander, and Chris Lorenz, but the music expands even deeper with well-known artists like hip-hop phenom Cordae!
Rufus Du Sol – The Gorge Amphitheatre, October 1
On top of an already packed year at the Gorge, 2022 is the year that we are blessed to have none other than Rufus Du Sol hosting a one-night event on October 1st. This event will feature both Rufus Du Sol and opener Fred Again.., and it is going to undoubtedly be one of the most beautiful nights of the year. It’s no secret that the pandemic was tough on artists and their ability to tour and perform live.
But if there is one thing that we do know, it’s that Rufus Du Sol didn’t let it stop them from releasing some absolute BANGERS. From 2020 til now, RDS has released several tracks including Alive, Next to Me, and On My Knees. On top of that, they have released remixes for each of these songs and put on one of the coolest live performances of 2020 during Live from Joshua Tree National Park. Make sure to pack extra sweaters and good vibes for this one!
Beyond Wonderland at The Gorge – The Gorge Amphitheatre, June 18 – 19
Back for its second appearance at The Gorge, Insomniac Events presents Beyond Wonderland at The Gorge is set to take place next month from June 18th to June 19th. Beyond Wonderland was introduced to the PNW back in 2019, taking its place as the new premier EDM event at The Gorge.
Kicking off the festival season at this venue, Beyond Wonderland at The Gorge will feature some huge names like Porter Robinson, Alesso, Black Tiger Sex Machine, and tons of other major talents. Insomniac over the last few years have taken a serious foothold in the Northwest, and we are loving it!
Bass Canyon – The Gorge Amphitheatre, August 20 – 22
This August 19th-21st, Bass Canyon will return to the Gorge for its fourth installment. Although there are relatively few details to date, we do know that there will be plenty of bass music and headbanging. As one of two full-fledged festival events hosted by the dubstep heavyweight Excision himself, Bass Canyon attracts thousands from across the country. While we wait for the lineup to be released, start contingency planning for some brutal set conflicts because we know they’re coming.
FVDED in the Park – Holland Park, July 8 – 9
There’s another massive music festival due for its return this summer: B.C.’s FVDED in the Park. With a massive lineup, including Illenium, Don Toliver, and even PNW local Seven Lions, this year’s festival is set to be one of the best. The festival will be taking place on July 8th and 9th in Holland Park, BC. Make sure to grab your tickets and join us heading north!
Any Patch of Grass – Whatcom County, June 24 – 25
Taking place June 24th-25th, Any Patch of Grass will be taking over Whatcom County. This festival is held on a 20-acre plot of private land bringing together a plethora of performances, visual art, and plenty of other activities to bring together the Northwest! This festival is a perfect place to see and hear some amazing local talent, and see what the Northwest community has to offer!
Black Book In The Park – Mural Amphitheater at Seattle Center, July 4
If you are still looking for plans this July 4th, look no further. Insomniac Events is bringing another house music heater to the PNW with Black Book In The Park! This one-day event at the Mural Amphitheater under the Space Needle will be headlined by one other than Chris Lake and is packed to the brim with fellow house artists such as Noizu and Yolanda Be Cool. If you haven’t already attended a show at Seattle Center, we implore you to grab a ticket and celebrate the holiday in style!
