Sunday
On the final night of Shambhala we see no less difficulty in deciding between sets. The night most notorious for partying offers up it’s best. A few major acts compete back to back starting early in the evening. The Pagoda brings on Black Tiger Sex Machine at 10:30 p.m. Soon after at 11, Fractal brings on Craze. Pagoda keeps it crazy with Feed Me hitting the decks at 12, and at 12:30 Fractal hits back with the legendary Mix Master Mike. Simultaneously, over at The Village we see Camo & Krooked stepping up to the plate.
At 1:30, Rezz takes her spot to shake The Pagoda. Only a half hour into her set does Delta Heavy come on at The Village. Those that love heavy bass and D&B will find themselves torn between the two headliners, both of whom couldn’t make the last Shambhala due to wildfire alerts.
Just a half hour into Delta Heavy at 2:30, Malaa takes over The Pagoda. The running back and forth between stages will no doubt get your steps in. If you manage to make it into the early morning, the much anticipated Dr. Fresch set at Fractal will be starting at 4, while 29 Palms takes on The Living Room at 5. 29 Palms, the side project of The Glitch Mob’s very own Boreta and Ooah has drawn a lot of interest since its announcement.
The Shambhala Experience is an amazing one. It’s stimulating and exciting, and FOMO can leave you exhausted. Even if you’re struggling with conflicts, be sure to pace yourself! The festival is a marathon, and you have all weekend to get through. Frankly, no matter where your at the music will be stellar. Shambhala is a festival that will amaze you time and time again.
What are you worst set conflicts? Who are you most looking forward to seeing? Lets us know in the comments!
