People have been preparing for the Solar Eclipse, and the Oregon Eclipse music festival, for months (some for years), and now it’s finally within our reach. As people prepare to experience the beauty, and once in a life time opportunity, pre-parties will be happening around the some cities.
Portland and Seattle both have a pre-party planned, and what better way to kick off a festival than with a more dancing. Seattle’s pre-party is set for Friday, July 28 at Monkey Loft. MACHINEDRUM, OVOID, ROB NOBLE, and ASE are just a few of the DJs playing. Party with Seattle from 10 pm to 4 am.
If you’re feeling really ambitious, you can catch both pre-parties this year. Portland’s pre-party will be happening during the Montavilla Street Fair on Sunday, July 30. It will feature music, art, food and vendors. A few of the DJs that will be playing include EL PAPACHANGO, BOGL, QUARRY, and EXODUB. It’s free before 5 pm and goes from 12 pm to 10 pm.
“As the moon approaches alignment in the Northwest, we call on our cities to come together and celebrate a few of our favorite things: lunar transformations, food, art, music and community.”
So get yourself ready for the event of a lifetime by partying next weekend. Will we be seeing you there?
