This January, Oliver Heldens will *finally* be making his Portland debut at 45 East. Last week Red Cube made the announcement, and within days tickets were on sale and tier one was sold out. Oliver Heldens is a future and deep house artist from Rotterdam Netherlands who has accomplished quite a bit in his 21 years.
He is signed to Spinnin’ records and founded Heldeep Records in 2015, which is a sub-label of Spinnin’ Records. He has killed it at Amsterdam Music Festival, Ultra Music Festival, Electric Music Carnival, Tomorrowland and more. He has collaborated with artists such as Shaun Frank, Sander Van Doorn, and Tiesto.
Along with all the touring he does, he puts on a weekly podcast: Heldeep Radio. This last Saturday he put up No. 132. Along with playing his own tracks, he also features listeners’ music. You are able to submit your own track to be featured on the show. Maybe he will play a listeners track at his show in Portland!
Make sure to get your tickets quick, they are on tier two now and are expected to sell out. The show is January 12 from 10 pm – 2 am at 45 East. Kicking off the show will be local support by Eddie Pitzul and NIGHT OWL. This is a 21+ show. Tickets can be purchased here. Make sure you follow the event Facebook page to stay up to date on ticket sales, and more.
We have been waiting (hoping) for Oliver Heldens to come to Portland for a while now. So put on your shuffling shoes and make sure to come and experience his energy and sound this coming year.
To give you a little taste, here is his set from Tomorrowland at his House Stage.
Important things happen in Pacific Northwest nightlife, and DMNW will send you alerts!
