North Warehouse announces official Shambhala pre-party featuring SkiiTour

The wonderful people behind Shambhala Music Festival have announced a slew of pre-parties leading up to the sold-out main event. Starting off with two Alberta, B.C. announcements, the Shambhala pre-party locations for the PNW are finally being revealed, kicking off with Portland’s The North Warehouse! And, oh boy, is it ever a heavy-hitting lineup.

Portland’s pre-party includes MEMBA, ill.Gates, SkiiTour, and more

Monstercat duo MEMBA will perform a headlining set at the mainstage. Other acts to perform are dubstep artists Ahee and Tsuruda, both known for their unique dubstep sounds. Handsome Tiger will also perform, who released the LP First People on May 5.

The event will also include the East Annex 360-degree stage, which will feature an array of talented artists. The undoubtedly legendary ill.Gates, Stylust, (the founder of Sleeveless Records), and Oregon local trap artist Chase Manhattan. Sleeveless Records’ Kowta will also perform, whose new track 40HZ REM which dropped May 17. Another PNW artist, Seattle-based Pedestrian Tactics (the mastermind behind the project Corporate) will also perform. And lastly, Nelson, B.C. trap artist Shiny Things returns to the Grove this year at Shambhala.

Outside the venue boasts another talent-packed jamfest. Before we get into the artists featured here, it’s interesting to note that every artist here has had releases through Canadian company Westwood Recordings. Firstly, this list has none other than the duo known for their Shambhala Thursday party-rocking sets at The Amp stage – SkiiTour! The other artists include Femme House collective member Joanna Magik, Las Vegas-based Nicky Genesis, and Vancouver-based Monstercat member Sivz.

Portand’s Official Shambhala Pre-Party event takes place at The North Warehouse on June 3. Doors open at 8pm and the pre-party runs until the wee hours of 2am. Other than having a blast, attending the event affords another perk: you could win two tickets to the sold-out 24th annual Shambhala Music Festival.
