Being from Seattle and playing in your hometown doesn’t always mean you will get a sold-out show. For Odesza, being from Seattle means facing a different challenge: selling out not one but two upcoming shows at the Paramount Theatre. In light of this, they have announced a third date, and judging from the reaction online they are well on their way to a third sell-out. They are now scheduled to perform December 5, 6 and 7. For the rest of the Northwest they are also scheduled to perform in Vancouver, BC on December 1 and 2 (not sold out yet), and also have one Portland stop on December 3, which is sold out.
In addition to the news for new shows, the Northwest duo has released plans for an upcoming album: In Return (Deluxe). The album features one new track entitled Light (ft. Little Dragon). On top of that it also includes some instrumentals and live recordings that have been reworked. The new album is due out September 18, but you can preorder the album now for a digital download made available as soon as the album is released. For those looking for the best possible sound quality, they have provided CD-quality lossless in the form of a 24-bit Wav download, along with a 320kbps MP3 option.
Tickets for the new Seattle date go on sale on Friday August 21, but presales begin August 18. We highly suggest getting tickets as quickly as possible, as demand for their shows has been extremely high.
