The Pacific Northwest’s very own Odesza has teamed up with Australian producer Golden Features to bring us a new supergroup called Bronson! And right out the gate, the trio has announced a completed album. Plus, two new singles — Heart Attack and Vaults — released this week on Odesza’s Foreign Familly Collective label.
Heart Attack was first teased in Odesza’s No Sleep Mix. 12. It features dreamy vocals from lau.ra, over a deep house track, as she sings of passionate love that feels like lightning.
Vaults, on the other hand, takes on a slightly darker tone. Leading with dancy bass hits and ambient vocals, the track eventually drops into a synth-filled bassline with rapid percussive notes strewn about.
Both songs are an incredible showcase of what’s destined to be an iconic album. They’re imbued with the signature sounds that we’ve grown to love from Odesza and Golden Features, bringing us the best of both worlds. Already, Bronson sounds like something unique in itself. The Album
Fortunately, we won’t have to wait long to hear the full-length album. According to their Bandcamp page, the album is set to be released on July 17th. A 10-song tracklist is available to view. Notable are two more features from R&B singer Gallant and British producer Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs. View the tracklist below!
