Vancouver’s Nostalgix, seen lately on major labels like UKF, Night Bass, and Dim Mak, has released a hard hitting new 2-track EP, Black Mirror, out today on Deadbeats.
Black Mirror features bass house styling across both tracks with tasty flavors of hip-hop and grime. The EP is buoyed by excellent rap performances from Wasiu and Bigredcap. We expect Black Mirror will easily find its way into many house and bass music sets this summer as we (finally) return to shows and festivals.
“I started writing this EP last year at a tough point in my life,” says Nostalgix. “I was realizing how imperfect the world is, and it inspired me to create something different.”
The EP also features a sick music video directed by Nostalgix and filmed by Leesa Weighill.
