Pretty Lights newest album, A Color Map Of The Sun, released today, and it was everything we’d expect and more. Not only is it chalk-full of hip-hop, electro, and soulful beats with feel-good melodies and a relaxed vibe, but the making-of took a handful of musicians, dozens of brass, string, and woodwind instruments (some hardly exist anymore!), keys, and the craftiest imagination to fit it all together into a golden, harmonious groove. “It’s analog-electronica, in its purest form,” says the man himself.
