Kill Paris Kicked Off Stage For “Not Playing Mainstream” Music

It was back in December when DJ Shadow was thrown off the decks at Club Mansion in Miami for a set that was “too future.” Nine months later, it’s Kill Paris’ turn at M Nightclub in Honolulu.

While it’s always upsetting seeing a talented artist get this sort of treatment, publicity like this is the perfect way to generate enough hype to make sure more clubs don’t emulate this behavior. That said, after his remix of “Play That Funky Music,” we don’t see how anyone would ever want a Kill Paris’ set to end.
