If you thought Deadmau5 wasn’t going to have any new material on his Cube V3 tour then you were way wrong. The Canadian DJ is ready to release his 9th studio album named Here’s The Drop on October 4.
No information has been provided whether it will follow the same structure as his 2018 release of Where’s the Drop?, Where Deadmau5 used the melodies and production of his most exciting songs and then recreated orchestral versions for 15 tracks such as Strobe, Fn Pig and Imaginary Friends.
On September 16 Mau5trap released a half blurred tracklist via their social media. We can visibly read one track title, fn pig and visibly on the right side is the word “remix.” This is confirming the rumor that it will be some kind of remix album like the most recent album.
Deadmau5 had little to say about his upcoming album on social media. It appears he wants the music to speak for itself. For Deadmau5 a big promotion campaign feels unnecessary. As a result, the release date was not provided on Twitter. In order to find the October 4 release date, you have to pre-save Here’s The Drop on either Spotify or Apple Music.

If you haven’t had a chance to catch Deadmau5’s cube tour then you still have time! He will be headlining the Wamu Theater in Seattle on December 19. Tickets are fairly reasonable. Including fees the total ticket price is just under $60.00. If you have seen pictures of the new cube then you know that this is a steal of a deal. It’s about average for Wamu Theater shows, where the lowest can be around $50.00 and the most expensive shows are around $100.00.
