If you follow NOISIA (by the way check out our Freaknight genre guide. We are stoked for NOISIA!) on SoundCloud or even their record label DIVISION Recordings, you might have been pleasantly surprised with a couple of tracks they have re-posted lately from a group called NEOSIGNAL. The German duo, composed of drum & bass producers Phace & Misanthrop, have been absolutely killing it with several previews of songs from their upcoming Space Gsus EP. NEOSIGNAL features an exquisitely unique sound, as they use aspects of French electro house, drum and bass, dubstep and techno in their production. The group’s mixed genre style is especially exemplified by the new release, Space Gsus.
A dark French house synth dominates Space Gsus and will remind you of Kavinsky and Justice. Also peppered in are glitchy breakdowns and a deep sub bass that will surely reverberate through your chest cavity. An awesomely psychedelic brass synth builds into the latter part of the song and leaves you wishing you could bump this song while jumping through wormholes. Maybe one day…
To listen to Space Gsus follow the SoundCloud link below or watch the incredibly trippy music for it here. Be on the lookout for the Space Gsus EP set to release on October 13th. If Space Gsus is any indication of what NEOSIGNAL will be releasing on the Space Gsus EP, we can expect the group to be repeating on our playlists for the foreseeable future.
