Alright, so maybe you remember when GIECO (Insurance) had that wicked remix of Rockwell feat. Michael Jackson Somebody’s Watchin Me on one of their commercials? Well, the genius’ behind that remix are the same behind this remix of Swedish DJ/Producer Adrian Lux’s Wild Child – Mysto & Pizzi.
Mysto & Pizzi dominate this progressive house remix of Wild Child with a vintage trance feel that will bring you right back to your first massive. The nostalgia of the old school sound in it self puts you in a good mood. Add a hard back beat you can feel rattle in your chest, some hypnotic synth melodies, entrancing vocals with build and drops that are nothing short of breath taking, and you get a recipe for a remix you can’t help but love.
This remix undeniably FORCES you to get up and dance, and to enjoy yourself while doing so. Like the EDM version of a gravitational pull, this track has that ‘it’ factor. Many dance music fans are drawn in by smooth house rhythms. Even though most of us bassheads aren’t for this style or genre anymore, we couldn’t help but get up and dance like 16-year-old kandi kids all over again.
What do you think? Should more producers get back to the ‘roots of EDM’ and make more old school sounding tracks? Comment below, let us know what you think!
