The lineup for Capitol Hill Block Party was just announced, and we are ecstatic. We can speak for ourselves and for all the dance music fans out there. This year’s lineup is filled with some of our favorite dance music acts. From the trippy bass lord, RL Grime to our PNW favorite, Fluencie.
See the list below for some of our must-see dance music acts for CHBP 2019.
Medasin – Friday
From Lollapalooza to Electric Forest, you can catch Medasin at almost every major EDM festival nowadays. His original track Daydream is one of our favorite tracks to listen to. From remixes to originals, we are sure to get an unforgettable set from Medasin.
Ekali – Friday
If you listen to dance music, you have probably heard of Ekali by now. This Vancouver artist has played at Red Rocks, Snow Globe, Coachella, and many more huge festivals. He is going on his third headline North America tour this year, so make sure to catch his set while he is at CHBP!
Robotaki – Friday
Experimental Sounds. Robotaki is known for taking you to another dimension with his sound of music. He has toured with Madeon and Porter Robinson on their Shelter Tour. After playing at major festival within the US and internationally, you can finally see him at our favorite block party. We are excited to see what surprises he will bring!
Fluencie – Friday
One of Seattle’s favorite, Fluencie. We heard that he is bringing a couple of guests with him for his set at CHBP. He incorporates live music into his sets making it different from your typical dance music set.
Big Wild – Friday
CHBP is known for bringing a lineup full of variety. Which is exactly what Big Wild brings to the EDM scene. His unique sound, incorporating hip-hop and jazz into his sets, making his performance a must see.
Snakehips – Saturday
All my friends are wasted. That sentence should speak for itself. All My Friends by Snakehips has been played on radios, festivals and more. Now you can hear it live at CHBP. The duo had such a great show at CHBP 2 years ago, that they had to come back!
RL Grime – Sunday
The bass lord himself, RL Grime made his appearance at Bumbershoot in 2018 but Seattle did not have enough of him! His album NOVA took over many of our playlists. RL Grime had created many staples in the EDM world, Core, Love Sosa Remix, and his collab with Daya, I Wanna Know.
