The trio’s latest release, “Moonlight,” embraces the saint versus sinner dilemma, and re-imagines the tale behind the music. The video opens up with an updated version of Beethoven’s “Moonlight Sonata,” and the storyline reenacts the familiar tale of “A Clockwork Orange.” A visual juxtaposition of, as they put it, “rage and beauty, pervasion and purity,” Black Tiger Sex Machine has turned the man-turned-werewolf myth into a haunted, audial reality; Doomed to lure your ears to the dark side, howling at the slightest sound of “Moonlight.”
