If you’re a fan of Game of Thrones and dance music, you may want to check out Moga Festival.
Taking place on October 11-13th, 2019, Moga Festival is making its return to the stunning setting of the Moroccan Atlantic coastline in Essaouira for its third installment. The event will be taking place at the filming location of Astapor in Game of Thrones, for three full days of electronic music and digital arts.
The setting for the festival is a blissful one by the sea, with grand old architecture, hot sun and local cuisines, culture and color, all making it a one-of-a-kind experience.
Past editions of Moga have seen the likes of Rossko, DJ Tennis, Mind Against, and more. The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) world heritage site also played host to a number of underground artists as well as native artists. Since its 2016 debut, the festival skipped a year and the crowd of attendees grew from 6,000 to 8,000.
Festival goers will have plenty to do and explore in Essaouira. Originally a Portuguese settlement on the Moroccan Atlantic Coastline, it offers picturesque sceneries, a vibrant bar/restaurant scene, and so much more.
At this time, Moga Festival’s organizers have yet to announce the lineup for the 2019 iteration of the event.
