London-based artist Moody Good stops in Portland this Saturday, January 18th. Harboring an experimental sound that combines dubstep with gritty layers, Eddie Jeffreys creates a unique brand of music. After releasing on popular labels like Gud Vibrations, Deadbeats, and Owsla, he boasts impressive credibility while staying fairly underground.
Even so, the Sunny Side Up tour has 30 dates across the US. While the tour features support from BLVKJVCK and Effin (who have gained popularity quickly themselves), the Portland date will miss them both for local support Phers instead.
Portland might be the only stop in the Northwest on his Sunny Side Up tour, but we’re hoping to catch more of Moody Good’s collaborations this coming year. Including projects with Subtronics, Skrillex, and Slander, Moody Good has quickly become an artist to watch. We’re most looking forward to hearing his remix of Slum Village’s Fall in Love, and his VIP edit of SIXTYSIXTY.
