We find ourselves in the year 2015 and EDM is moving at the speed of light. Well almost. But we’re slowing it down for a few minutes to highlight someone who’s really helped pave the way for dance music. Since the mid 90s Moguai has undoubtedly been one of dance music’s biggest and most consistent contributors.
The veteran producer hails from Germany, arguably one of the most difficult markets to please in the industry because EDM has been a part of their music culture for several decades. In 1994 Moguai paired his talents with Jürgen Driessen and released his first EP, Best Before End. The 3-track EP was the first of many EPs, artist albums and tracks he released throughout the past 20 years. That’s right, 20 freaking years.
It’s difficult outlining all of his major accomplishments since first rising in the scene, but his most notables are being signed to Joel Zimmerman’s Mau5trap Records and being presented with gold and double platinum awards in his career. Have you ever wondered if there was a dance music artist who’s literally seen it all and played at almost every musical festival in existence? Well, Moguai has. That’s what makes him a true veteran.
