Getting to watch the livestream of the Mothership Tour from Red Rocks was unreal and made us insanely jealous it didn’t come close enough for any of us to attend. This video is far from the typical tour recap video and we couldn’t be happier. Skrillex puts his unique…um… personality into it including video game humor, gross butcherings of his name, and shenanigans with his fellow tour-mates. The video may only be 7.5 minutes in length, but between the reactions of fans both in the crowd and outside the venues and getting behind-the-scenes glimpses of the hijinks we feel like any more would have just been too much to take.
We have no idea when Skrillex plans on gracing the PNW with his presence, but we’re fortunate to have Dillon Francis coming to FreakNight. DJ Snake just got low with us at Lucky (though we’d be happy to have him back again!), What So Not rocked out with us at the Gorge for Paradiso, and Milo & Otis will be coming to the Showbox on October 17th. Sure it’s not as amazing as it must have been to have them all together, but maybe if we close our eyes and wish really hard we can be transplanted.
