3. Bonnaroo Music Festival – June 12-15
Great Stage Park – Manchester, TN
Since it’s formation in 2002, the Bonnarooo lineup has rapidly evolved each year. It started out as a full jam band festival and while still staying true its true roots, has managed to branch out and bring the biggest names in the industry. Metallica, Radiohead, Tool, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Paul McCartney, Beastie Boys as well as jam bands like The Dead, The String Cheese Incident and The Disco Biscuits are just some of the acts that have graced the stages of Bonnarroo. Over the years, it has purchased the land used for Bonnaroo and has since made a permanent main stage at the location. Comedy and EDM soon started trickling its way in inside the festival’s gates over the years with superstars like Paul Oakenfold, Tiesto, Pretty Lights, Deadmau5, Reggie Watts, Jim Breuer and Patton Oswalt.
General admission is on it’s last tier of pricing at $285 and VIP for $1,500 for a pair of passes. The good news is your camping is included in the ticket price. All camping is on-site, and hotels are also available, but wouldn’t that take the point out of going to a festival? If you are strapped on cash, Bonnaroo has you covered with a payment plan option. The 2014 lineup is nothing short of amazing.
